Community Tree Planting Day

A Time to Give Back

The Building Industry has traditionally not been that environmentally friendly, but use of renewable resources, recycled materials and great passive solar design are improving that on our projects.

Meanwhile, some affirmative action was warranted and Claridge Construction loved teaming with Edge Church West to spend an enjoyable community day revegetating an Adelaide hills property. The 140 Australian native trees are not only worthwhile from a greening perspective, but species selected to attract local bird and wildlife.

The Edge Youth did a great job earning money to support Run2RED. This worthwhile ‘umbrella charity’ supports World Vision, Compassion, Transform Camboida and Childhood Cancer Association’. All in all a great and now an annual event.

“UNLESS someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not” – Dr Seuss, The Lorax.
